10 am - 12 noon: AGM & talk "The Excavation of Droitwich Town Mill"

The Dodderhill Parish Survey Project welcomes you to the AGM which will be followed by an update on their latest Heritage Lottery Project “Historic Droitwich : Its Streets and People” followed by an illustrated talk on the Excavation of Droitwich Town Mill.
The AGM will commence at 10 am, when the agenda includes the election of Officers and the presentation of the annual accounts.
This will be followed by a update on the Heritage Lottery Project including various events planned and interesting research results.
The talk will start at 10.30 am, when Andy Mann, an archaeologist from Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service will give an illustrated presentation on the archaeology of the Droitwich Town Mill site and reveal the results of various archaeological and scientific investigations.
The Droitwich Town Mill site once occupied an area alongside the canalised River Salwarpe, and has recently been redeveloped as the Horton Mill retirement home complex on Hanbury Road.
