Dodderhill farmsteads are scattered across the parish.
The finger of land to the east of the parish, which borders Stoke Prior, has a line of farmsteads on its northern boundary.
This area was formerly part of the Forest of Feckenham, and it is possible that the farmsteads began as encroachments into the forest land in mediaeval times.
Work is continuing on the analysis of these settlements as part of the WHEAS Farmstead Project.
This study was undertaken by Worcestershire Historic Environment and Archaeology Service, and will form part of a nationwide study. The detailed report is not yet available.
